It seems like the sets/formations and play calling changed when Etling came in. Do they "limit" the formations and plays when BH is in?

They run those same plays with Brandon, he just can't complete them like Etling does so they don't run them as much,

Ive never played football, so i am pretty ignorant to gameplanning. I would assume, though, that the initial play calls are used to set up further play calls down the line and through out the game. Harris started 0-3 with 3 bad throws; you cant build on a foundation that poor. Etling came in, converted a check down and some intermediate throws, and it opened up more. Not different plays/sets, but different initial results.

I 100% agree and I don't say this as to defend the QB play we've seen up to this point. Still it looked like to me at least LSU changed qb's and all of the sudden there were 3 and 4 receiver sets. Routes that attacked a defense and confused the coverage. Things very rarely and randomly seen with LSU.
I thought I was the only one who saw it this way.

We run the same plays with Harris. The rant sees what it wants to see

The fact that Etling stepped in and was able to read the defensive formation and check down to 2nd and 3rd options made the playbook accessible.

Now we have another QB coached by another staff that will be the LSU QB we will have a good year now.

Thing Harris has done as recently as last week vs Wisconsin. The optimism that people had for Etling is understandable, and the offense played better as a unit under his guidance, but the people who think the individual results are any better than what Harris has done are crazy. If Harris finished 6/14 people would have lost their mind.

College Football Sunday TEARING Les Miles a new one. Said the same thing as on here: Miles doesn't have the intellect change his offense to match his talent. Glad they one, but will get hammered and Danny Etling isn't the answer.
