So returning to order means LSU is 3rd in the West? Great

Exactly. Complacent and lazy fans settling for mediocre football. A couple of weeks ago, we were ranked beneath Fresno State, Central Florida and Northern Illinois.

I'm an LSU fan that cares too much to see this program return to mediocrity. If you think Miles just can't be replaced (Who ya gonna get?), look at Auburn. Amazing what happens when a football programs grabs it's Nutts and goes out and finds a capable coach. Tired of this BS from LSU fans who settle for this level of football.... and the obvious direction it's heading.

Queue the 10-Win Settlers...

That's a bit much. Dont think the season was terrible sans ole miss but making a return to order thread when LSU is third in the West is obtuse.

Look at Florida, or R-kansas too.

All I'm trying to explain is the the last couple of years are an anomaly. Namely, AU really bad, OM pretty bad, and aTm better than normal. No matter how you scramble it, it's going to fall back into place in due time.

Next year:

1 - Bama/LSU
2 - Bama/LSU
3 - AU
4 - OM/aTm
5 - aTm/OM
6 - 7 ? Who GAS ?

Auburn is the favorite in the west next year, imo. This is just conjecture on your part.

A good Auburn team benefits LSU. It's much better when there's more than one team that can compete with Alabama. A good Tennessee team would benefit LSU most of all.

Bama's not invincible, Auburn on the rise, LSU ends the season on a good note, A&M is a team to be reconed with, Ole Miss is pretty good. It's doesn't look like it's going to turn into a one horse race anymore and the outlook for LSU is suddenly pretty good. LSU could end up atop the SEC west next season. Before, with Bama's apparent stranglehold on the west, it didn['t look possible.

Bama embarrased LSU

LSU needed a miracle 99 yard drive to beat winless in the SEC Arkansas

Slow down

I hear that, just saying the outlook for LSU to win the SEC west again in the near future is a lot better than it was before this weekend happened.
