Not to mention the question of national seeds. At least 4 SEC teams should be hosting a regional (LSU, A&M, Vandy, and Florida), but we're the only sure national seed out of those. The other 3 can play their way into one.

I can't see Arkansas hosting especially with TCU, Dallas baptist, Missouri State and OK State all hosting right in that area of the country.

I was wondering this as well. They had a good schedule to finish on a 10-0 run after sweeping Bama. But Split a series with Tennessee after a wild pitch scored the go ahead run. Then dropped one at Georgia too.
They have to get through Florida and LSU to have a chance.
Anyone think a team like Missouri State could end up the 1 seed in a Fayetteville Regional with Arkansas as the 2 seed?

If they do about the same it will stay like this. A tourney win by any of these teams locks up a top 8 seed. 0-2 ruins their chances. Should be fun.

I don't either but if they go through this tourney and win it, they will be introduced into the coversation. They probably won't get it but you never know.

Doubt it. They will let just about anyone host these days as long as you have lights and more than like 1000 seats.

they haven't done the 2 seed hosting in years. Doubt it happens again.
