This perpetual bitching about the refs is simply residual of the current generation's dependence upon help from any authoritative figure in sight. Never fear, though.....it's a small, yet loud percentage ( and most of today's kids are hard, hard workers) and you will NEVER report to them for your job.

I read the Mike Periera piece and he's only making assumptions. He has no actual proof to validate what he's saying. I've never witnessed the refs taking more than 2 minutes to make a call unless it was during a play review. I'm not a fan of Periera on the NFL games. He's wrong a lot of the time and he's supposed to be a head of officiating for the NFL.

I always hate to see bad calls but they happen on both sides of the ball and the best way to take the officials out of the game is to destroy your opponent so "close calls" can't affect the outcome. For the most part the officials have left the LSU-BAMA contest in the players hands.
