Oh, I see. This is a pumpers blame the players for everything routine, not one where you identify potential areas of better coaching.

Taking away the first game of the season that we played on the road against a ranked State team, our offense average over 7.0 yards per play in our first six games as well as in the bowl game.

During the November stretch, we averaged less than 6.0 yards per play in each game.

So I'll ask you, did Cameron and Steele radically alter their playcalling in those games, or did the players get beat ON THE FIELD?

Mett just threw it in the general direction of OBJ or Landry and those hawks went and got it. without them, our 2013 O was not that great.
65%CR and YAC was too good to support this and you're saying LSU would have same pass O with AJ or Harris in '13.
The fact is passing dropped off considerably after Mett went down.

Mett was very good at placing throws in offensive favor (in stride, off shoulder, etc) and WRs were good at being where they were supposed to be with clean routes, then catching the ball is much closer to the truth.
ETA: Sorry this goes against "The QB doesn't matter, it's the coaching, or it's the phlosophy" narrative.

Saying coaches need to improve is one thing but that's not what you do
And, it's something you never do.

You go to another level where it's just bashing just to bash
You bashed the players in an effort to avoid even saying a WORD about the coaching.

The rest is eyewash. You respond to EVERYONE who says the coaches are performing in an any area substandard in the same way.

Well. Um. If you can't think of any other possible options, I don't know what to tell you.

Yeah. We did better against bad defenses than against good ones. The players sucked!!!!

Man, you're embarrassing yourself.

Just come out and say that no matter what happens, you will say it's the player's fault.

So, really. If you're anticipating good offense next year, the only thing you have to base that on is pure hope. You simply have to pray we have another 2011 defense.

Will you be using the 9mm or are you going for the good spread to end it? 2016 has already been a bad year for you.

Meh.

I liked the Aranda hire. I think it means we will have a better defense. Which, probably means we'll win a game or two we shouldn't have even if our offense shits the bed.

Our offense MIGHT be good..........but if you are predicting that it WILL be good.............you're basing it on unicorns and rainbows.

No, I'm not a Posi-Pumper. I stay in the middle and am Pro-LSU. I see nothing wrong with people being excited for a new year. What is damn near a travesty is having negativity constantly towards LSU and any efforts to try to improve it. I'd never want to watch a game with any of the Nega's that's for sure. That'd be a depressing nightmare.
