Possibly the most retarded statement of the season...congrats.

Correct me if I am wrong. But if SC wins the SECCG and we beat arkansas, we should still get a BCS bowl. Maybe not the Sugar.

Everyone seems to think SC winning will keep us out of the BCS. But, a win vs Ark and an AU loss to SC should put us in the top 4 of the BCS.

I thoguht the top 4 got automatic bids regardless of anything else. Is this incorrect?

You're the one who doesn't want lsu to play in the best bowl possible. You're the only one with an epic fail in this thread

That's your opinion.
I guess you wouldn't mind seeing LSU accept a bid to the Liberty Bowl.

I'd rather see LSU in the Sugar.

If Auburn loses to South Carolina and stays in the top 4, they could get the bid and we could be left out. South Carolina gets the automatic for winning the conference. There are only 2 teams max allowed for any conference to have in BCS bowls.

But we WON'T be in the Liberty Bowl this year.

Would I like to see us in the Sugar Bowl? Hell yes.

Would I like to see filthy cheating scumbags like Newton win a National Championship? No way in hell.

So if Zona does the unthinkable and win, Boise loses, Clemson beats USC tom. that will put LSU at 3. You are saying that AU losing to a 4 loss team would only drop AU 1 spot?

If auburn loses to USC they would more than likely get the other bcs bid over LSU. 12-1 AU with the Heisman winner is more attractive than 11-1 LSU to a bowl committee.

True, but I'm thinking that if AU loses, the will drop far enough in the polls to take them out of the top 4. And if we get into the top 4 we are in the BCS.

I don't see au staying in the top 4 with a loss in seccg

Well not exactly. There's about a $14 million difference between a BCS bowl and the Capital One bowl. While yes, me and you will never see a dime of that, it is better for our program as a whole.

So that means AU can only drop 1 spot if they lose to a 4 loss team. I thought if you were top 3-4 you're guaranteed a bcs game.

Agree with this. Dyer is probably paid just like Cam. They may have a dream season but in the end it will not mean anything.

If only to minimize the damage to the SEC and the BCS, Auburn needs to lose.

Bad enough that their cheating has kept LSU out of the SEC Championship, they don't need to keep some other deserving school out of the BCSCG.

Auburn winning in December is just bad for football.

Y'all are a bunch of half witted idiots. Really? Root against the SEC? PAC 10 and big12 writers are saying the SEC is falling. Stick it to them and hope the Auburn wins, which is our best chance at a NC. Also we go to the sugar bowl. So for those of you who can't swallow your pride in order for us to go to the sugar bowl, grow the frick up. Idiots
