In 2 or 3 years when lsu hasn't played Georgia or USCe in 2 years, I guarantee you the Alabama fans won't be complaining.

They wouldn't have anything to complain about anyway.

You only have to go back to 2010 to see everyone involved with Alabama complaining about schedules being unfair.

I can't believe people are still griping about schedules.

When the SEC takes a 12-2 Georgia team off the Alabama SEC schedule, replaces them with a 2-10 Kentucky team, and then adds that same 12-2 Georgia team to the LSU SEC schedule, I am going to gripe whether you like it or not.

You can bend over at take it if you want without griping, but when I get something crammed up my arse I'm going to yell.

The Vols were pretty good
They weren't as good as Florida. Did you even bother reading the whole thread before responding?

Who wants to see Fat Phil every year?
If you seriously would have rather faced the Steve Spurrier Florida Gators over the "Fat Phil" led Tennessee Vols back in the 90s then you are a fool.

Miles did a great job of getting the media excited about the topic. I'm glad he did.

Well aren't you the noble one. Thank God you're not our AD.

So you're telling me that you wouldn't prefer another break or 2 in the schedule in order to increase our odds of making it to Atlanta? I think you're just full of **** and too proud to admit you're wrong. Even the best teams in the history of college football would struggle with some of our recent schedules.

Not proud at all. I have always preferred to play a tougher schedule than play a lighter one and win a meaningless conference championship.

LSU plays Florida every year. Auburn plays Georgia every year. Alabama plays Tennessee every year. That's all there is to it.

So the SEC Championship game is meaningless?

Conference championships are meaningless. The national championship is the only one that matters.

So the fact that the last 7 winners of the SEC Championship have gone to the National Championship means nothing?

You know what, just don't even bother responding. You're obviously just stubborn and trying to be a pain in the arse.

I see the value of a conference championship equal to the value of a state. Both should be abolished.

Tell that to coaches who get a bonus in their pay when they win one or schools that hang banners in their stadiums when their teams win one or players who get to wear rings denoting the accomplishment.

Ok so how do you expect your team to win a national championship if it gets stuck with a much much much harder schedule than its rival every year?

It's ok to always want the toughest opponent if you don't care about winning a title and just view each game as entertainment but I'd like to see LSU win a NC.

I wish they would just move Auburn and Bama to the East, and move Missouri and Vandy to the West, then drop the permanent cross divisional games altogether. THERE. DONE DEAL.

Yeah that seems balanced. LSU and A&M vs Bama, Florida, UGA, SC, Auburn

Who cares about balance? Tradition is all that matters. That's why Bama gets a joke of a schedule while we face a nightmarish one. Fairness and balance mean nothing. Unless it's Bama who is at the disadvantage, then it's suddenly important.

In the East South Carolina has a schedule that does not include Alabama, LSU or TAM.

But at least there's some justice in that because they have been fricked over the last two years.

Eliminate permanent cross-divisional games and make teams that have rivalries use an OOC slot to play that game.

I don't really like that option, but its an option.
