Saban and Miles have been planning for this game since this summer I imagine.

I tend to agree with this. Both of them.

Not sure about this.

My guess would be Bama the first

Not good news for LSU. I fear they will have trouble coming from behind with a fired up Bama D.

then their typical second half meltdown against good teams.

They really haven't played any good teams this year that they have had a meltdown. Not sure what this may mean, but they were tied at half at home to TENN 6-6. Level of Comp?? Maybe. I have a special feelin about THIS LSU team. I don't have that about THIS Bama team. LSU has better OVERALL team speed. They have better QB play. That have a coach that is NOT scared to gamble if needed, and LSU has a MAJOR advantadge at the DEPTH DEPARTMENT.

Watch The Experts on ESPNU. Jason Seahorn said this on the show. How Saban gets the extra week to get ready for LSU. When you hear all of the so called experts say Bama will win this game, why didn't the ones that have votes put Bama #1. Some of these clowns do have votes don't they?

As LSU's coach, Saban's only loss in '03 was to Florida, after a bye. The next year he had 5 weeks to prepare for an Iowa team that was not nearly as good as LSU-and a blown defensive assignment (exactly the type of thing that a lot of preparation could avoid) was the reason we lost.

His guys aren't going to get faster, taller or considerably stronger in 2 weeks.

Over the last 5 years, Les is 4-1 afte pre-scheduled bye weeks. I don't really count 2005 since the bye week got shifted because of the hurricanes. The only loss was in 2008 to UF's NC team. The guy does well coming off bye weeks, and I think with less confusion on offense, they'll be even smoother this season.

Roger. LSU wins this game rather easily IMO. They ARE the better team OVERALL. I would be conservitive in say 8-10 points. YES LSU IS THAT much better than Bama, even IN Bama.

Very bold statement my friend. I am as true a fan as there is, but I think you might want to use your brain and think about what you're saying. It will be a very tough game and probably very close. I do like our chances, but I would suggest you might be a little more humble.

I see LSU being deeper everywhere, especially in the trenches. I believe the Tigers have more team speed, and thus more game breakers.

Add in the fact that we don't give up the ball, but take it away very well, and on a consistent basis, and you have the chance for a dominating win by LSU.

LSU 29-19, with a garbage-time score by the Tide.

You have an opinion. FINE. BUT This LSU team as far as I have watched THIS SEASON is gonna beat Bama like I have said they would.

I trust you know what your talking about and hope that you are right. NOTHING would make me happier. But, I've been watching this game for a while and I know that Alabama is like no other team we've played to date this year. And it's at their house. We'll talk after the game.

Saban had an extra week to prepare for a much weaker LSU squad last year.

I agree with this. However LSU is playing better than Bama is right now. A TON of variables can be considered, BUT ALL In ALL LSU IS the better team and IF they play like they have all year, esp in the FLA and AU games. They will Beat Bama easily. Just sayin.
