I keep hearing all the "experts" talking about how Nick Saban has 2 weeks to prepare for this LSU team. "Give Nick Saban 2 weeks to prepare for a team & that spells trouble" blah..blah..blah...
Did anyone stop to think that Les Miles ALSO has 2 weeks to prepare for this bama team? Nobody mentions that aspect. Nor the fact, it was posted here earlier, that Miles has a better record when given extra time to prepare than saban. So I guess the consensus is that while saban is forming the master plan of destruction, Miles is taking a week off? This train of thought will make it OOOOHHHH SOOOOO much more satisfying come 00:00 time in tuscaloosa when the TIGERS get the "W"!!!!

Saban had a month to prepare for Utah and still had a shitty gameplan and effort. I give Miles the edge with time.

Saban teams don't do well after a bye week, historically.

This.

I'm extremely confident in Les, he'll have us ready.

The main reason that the talking heads are saying that is they think Little Nicky is superior to anyone else coaching at this time. They have not done any research to back up their statements. They have not looked at the results to see the flaws in their logic. In fact, they have not used critical thinking skills at all. They heard one person say it and they all begin to repeat it. It is really sad. It speaks to the quality of our journalism/communication schools and to the quality of folks that places like ESPN will hire. Look at the bottom of the screen when someone begins to talk. They put information about where they played football/basketball, not if they have a degree or not. Really sad.

All of this talk will likely piss off the LSU players like it does to you.

THEY are #1, have dominated everyone they've played, have the talent to beat ANYONE (UA included), and all that they hear is how they won't win this one.

Personally, I hope the media "experts" keep up the disrespect...

BTW Saban had two weeks to prepare last year for LSU as well. How did that work out for Alabama?

Roger. LSU wins this game rather easily IMO. They ARE the better team OVERALL. I would be conservitive in say 8-10 points. YES LSU IS THAT much better than Bama, even IN Bama.

I agree with you about your point. The more time Miles has, the better he has done it seems. We have had some great success in such situations such as bowl games and openers. Hopefully we give it to the Gumptards

Thats fine, we have two weeks as well. LSU doesnt do anything special on offense, like an oregon who has about 45,000 plays and 1,000 formations. LSU lines up and hits you in the mouth, we are more complex on defense that offense by far so i guess there is an advantage there, but you know the Chavis has several new blitz and hidden formations up his sleeve. Nov. 5th its going down, both teams will be health and hungry, this will be one of the greatest battles of all time for either schools, ill take the under and an LSU victory.

I think one team dominates the first half, the other the second. My guess would be Bama the first and then their typical second half meltdown against good teams. I still think it will be close, within 4-7 pts.

Really, it's Alabama that should be worried, history shows that when Miles teams have a long period to prepare like bowl games they always come ready to play and blow people away!
