I agree that Jennings is going to get every snap unless we are getting blown out. But I don't base this just on BH not playing lately. I base it on what Les said. Basically he said this week that we are a one quarterback team. Can't remember the exact quote.

If a change of pace wasn't introduced on 1/9/12 then it's not going to happen this weekend either. If there was ever a need to make a change mid game to try and generate something positive it was on that night and it didn't happen. It was literally the definition of having nothing to lose by middle of the 3rd quarter and well we never crossed the 50 yard line.

Next spring and fall you'll hear that the QB competition is open but you'll see the same thing next year and the year after. This exact scenario has already played out before under Les.

This maybe true, but it doesn't have to be. That being said, If Les Miles history is an indicator, he is dug in with Jennings, and won't pull him barring injury, or a 21-28 point deficit.

Aren't you a card carrying nega? Les will have plenty of wrinkles and Harris is possibly one of them. "The midget" is typically uptight v LSU and probably hasn't slept in two weeks knowing Les is a crafty beotch.

Harris has a huge arm, but Jennings has better touch. We wont need a big arm to win tomorrow, but we will need the 10-12 passes we attempt, to be catchable. Jennings has more experience and as long as he doesnt turn it over, we'll be competitive.

I dont think Harris sees much of the field unless a complete blowout (either side) or injury. I am okay with this year being a building year for Harris and hope both come back next season for epic-ness.

I don't think this is necessarily true.

Marshall is limited throwing, Saban had a hard time with him,

Knight with OK didn't scramble , but beat the shite out of em thru the air.

Harris has done well at home. If he plays, I don't think we'll be in bad shape. I can't fault him for being rattled in his first start against a top five team on the road. At least this team won't be as good as Auburn.

yea, A&M's offense really threw him for a loop a couple of weeks ago...

Home game with an offensive line that is no longer a sieve.

Harris will play when you least expect it.

Cam cooking up some tricks.

How idiotic! The exact opposite happened. We have a second year guy who is starting over a first year guy. JJ was a first year guy who eventually took the job away from a second year guy. And you use that example to prove your point that Les will stick with the veteran.

I bet you were one of those dopes who were saying Les is stubborn, and he'll never bench Welter.

This is why I believe Harris will be called upon. I can see him taking between 10-20 snaps on Saturday. The QB has to use his feet to extend plays running and passing to beat Bama. That is the recipe to defeat Bama and I worry about Jennings being able to do this. I've said all year we needed Jennings to win when everyone was jumping on Harris bandwagon. Now, I see this as LSU really needing some help out of Harris.

How many snaps has he had in the last 3 wins?

If he takes any snaps tomorrow it will probably be bad news.

I could see them having a play or two for him if the situation is right, unfortunately these types of plays are usually telegraphed and snuffed out pretty easily by good defenses. Harris will not be sent in to run the standard offense for a series.

Doubt MIles has any intention of playing Harris. Smoke and Mirrors.
Pray our OL can control the trenches because that is what this game will come down to for LSU

Well good thing our QB isn't very good at anything. Saban will have zero clue which limitation to attack resulting in 15-20 250 yds and 3 TD's.

How does Alabama counter if the run is successful?

The trick will be to force Bama into man coverage in the secondary with the running game. Their pass defense, while still good, is the relative weakness on the defense. I think LSU receivers are good enough to beat Bama's man coverage. Can Jennings get the ball to his receivers? Maybe half the time, which could be just good enough to force bama back into zone coverage. If LSU can play turnover free, and if Jennings can read Bama's defense at the snap, I think they have a good chance to win this game.

I also think LSU throws in more read option, with Jennings running the ball more. This appears to be a weakness in Bama's run defense - unfortunately, it is also LSU's weakness on defense, and Sims can run.

Question...will Miles and Cam have a trick razzed dazzle play where both QBs come in for a play? Hope so.
