What a nice story on Ryan Schimpf about 'Biding Your Time' and 'Never Giving Up'!

He was actually just called up for his first MLB stint about 20 minutes ago. One of my favorite LSU players ever.

Loved watching him play. Can't believe he's been fighting through the minors this long.

Making his @mlb debut tonight is @Ryan_Schimpf, who will be starting at 3rd & batting 6th. Full lineup vs. Marlins:

Is there a way to watch this game?

Online or otherwise?

Holy shite that's awesome. My dad and my uncles were neighbors and friends with his mother growing up. Glad to see he's made it up to the majors.

Left off all the GOAT lists at LSU but he was one helluva player. Aggressive as hell with a bat. My memory may fail me now but seems every time he came up in a clutch situation he delivered. Proud for him.

So happy for him! What a hard worker, didn't realize he was having such a great year this year in AAA. Something like .335 and 15 HRs, OPS over 1.000
