Can he hit a single? Otherwise I'm not optimistic.

We have a clear advantage on the mound.
Eades and a flotilla of Tiger pitchers will be available tomorrow.

Mainieri must have a quick hook ready. He has too many options to pull the one-batter-too-long routine again with the season on the line.

It wil all come down to bats. No way we win with less than 4 runs tomorrow.

Only thing that's encouraging is the SB coach didn't sound confident about his day 3 guy. However, our bats are so damn flat right now it may not matter. Here's to hoping that the bats get hot for LSU.

I personally see a 2009 CWS style series (against Texas) in the making tomorrow. We battle in game 1 for win, we get embarrassed game 2, and we run away with it in game 3.

Eades will give up some runs. That's for sure. However, we SHOULD be able to score some runs as they don't have a lot of pitching depth. However, if we keep taking the same approach at the plate then it won't matter who throws for Stony Brook.

Probably better than Arby Fields. And by probably, I mean definitely, and by single, I mean any type of hit whatsoever.

We need 4 solid innings from Eades... 5 or 6 would be excellent.

As others have stated ---- we need hitting and RUNS to win.

Hopefully we can jump on their pitching and get a lead early and let Eades settle in and pitch.... then go to Cotton of Joe B. if needed and close out with Goody on his game.

Geaux Tigers... make it happen!

I know you're being sarcastic, but Eades is actually a very good hitter. He could be playing middle infield instead of pitching if he wanted to. And yes, he is a better hitter than Arby

Any chance Anthony Ranaudo has some eligibility left?? Lol j/k I think Eades will hold his own. If he does struggle though, I would like to see McCune come in. Kid has a nasty backdoor slider and while he doesn't have a plus fastball it has some pretty good movement on it. Obviously pounding fastballs does not phase the SeaWolves....Btw what the hell is a sea wolf? Ive been to the ocean many times, never seen any wolves out there paddling around... Here we come Omaha!!!
