The power to stay positive in situations like Eric's in my opinion is the most important factor in recovery. Everyone who reads this board should take it upon themselves to send something no matter how big or small the note. When my wife was battling cancer there was always a smile on her face when someone took the time to write her a note or give her a card.
C'mon tigerdroppings stuff this young mans inbox with well wishes!

Thanks to all you guys. I don't know Eric personally but....I know thousands of young people that may be in his same situation.
It truly is 'only a game' when you consider what this young man is facing. Please continue to send him uplifting messages.
Jimmy V said it best at the ESPYs in 1993...Don't give up....don't EVER give up.

Jimmy V made us laugh and cry when the teleprompter told him that he had 30 seconds left, to which he said, "They got that screen up there flashing 30 seconds, like I care about that screen. I got tumors all over my body and I'm worried about some guy in the back going 30 seconds."

There was a prayer service at Rutgers for Eric last night. Coach Schiano has been getting some heat this year for the disapointing season, but he is a class act. Check out the clip

im not a huge schiano fan (not a good in game coach and i think he may have reached his ceiling) but he has done a tremendous job during this time. i have nothing but respect for the way he has handled everything.
