not worried about Dunn. LSU has his replacement in house.

Cain? we might have to promote him just to get him away from third base!

You do realize he played at Bama right? Probably his dream job.

Incorrect, Dunn played at UAB.

Dunn played baseball at Alabama but he didn't graduate. He went back to school and got his degree from UAB.

A lot of people are going to object on the basis that he's unproven. But I would be willing to take a chance on him.

I think the main thing is he has SEC coaching experience.

For LSU to make a better hire, I think they would have to pull a coach from the SEC or ACC school that has made regionals consistently.

But I don't think you find a coach to leave, since the ACC and SEC are in a league of their own nowadays as far as baseball is concerned.

And see has we have, I think, the 3rd best BA Avg. in the SEC with a lineup dominated by underclassmen. I think Cannizaro is proving himself worthy of at least being on the list come CPM's retirement.

This is based on us running him out after the omaha exit or prior in 2016.

Bregs is jockeying Cannizaro for Alabama and Texas jobs on Twitter. He's been a pleasant surprise considering everyone was up in arms about us hiring a scouting director as a first time coach to be the new hitting coach at LSU.

Rumor crushed

Glenn Guilbeau @LSUBeatTweet
LSU pitching coach Alan Dunn, a former Bama pitcher, would be great hire for the Tide.

Yes, CPM owes all of his success to them, including all of his success in his career before he hired them and the success he will have after they leave.

I think Casey Dunn would be a better hire. Just my opinion. Probably knows way more about recruiting the state.

Still a rumor unless Guilbeau was hired by Alabama to do their bidding.

But it more than makes sense.

Who do we hire as his replacement if so.

Augie Garrido was re-assigned today at Texas-- talk is Schlossenagle(TCU) or Pierce(Tulane)are on Texas list. Cannizaro is the heir apparent at Tulane if Pierce leaves.
