RR left because he saw the writing on the wall.

Now, suck it up ALL you JJ haters, take a deep breath now let it out... Say it with me.... Aw, damn it wasn't JJ after all, Mettenberger isn't our Knight in Shining Armor, he actually looks like more of doofus out on the field than JJ did. We have a much more serious problem than we could have ever imagined.

no, a large part of the problem was Jordan. he wasn't the worst QB ever as some would have you believe, but the inconsistency and bad decisions he made weren't the kind of thing you should see out of a guy with 25 or so starts heading into his senior yr.

Mett has actually played pretty well, all things considered.

as in played pretty well do you mean have as many turnovers in 6 games equal the entire last season.

Wow!!

The comment about wondering if everyone still blames JJ and Lee is saying a lot. RR knows there is a coaching problem on that team. This shines an entirely different light on the entire program.

Maybe RR could go ahead and call Les Miles now that the he has moved on to the NFL.

I'm sure Miles would talk with him about his suggestions.

May have already been said, but as difficult as this is for me, I have finally come to terms with this statement and, in fact, agree with it. It's obviously not the QB's themselves, it is the staff's inability to develop them.

We've now been through a number of offensive coordinators with this head coach...same, same...it really doesn't matter who the Offensive Coordinator designee is...Miles calls the shots and, quite frankly, it's not working. From 2008 'till now we have been inept on the offensive side of the ball.

@RuebenRandle: 9 men in the box & u run the ball
---blames coaches
@RuebenRandle: I wonder do everybody still put all the blame on @JJefferson9 & @jarrett__lee
---blames coaches
@RuebenRandle: I'll never point the blame on anyone. It's always a collective effort

He's 100% right and knows more about the situation than anyone else on this board IMO.

Sounds like he's blaming the coaches, but then blames it on everyone. Anyone's going to be right when he has two opinions.

Its amazing RR never had shite to say while he was playing.
WHile I appreciate his input, he should realize sometimes and somepoint he may be doing more harm than good.

It's time for Miles to Change his offense mind set or get the Hell out. And I am not a nega tiger. I have supported him from the beginning. He is freaking hard headed and needs to change or he has to go.

what's funny about this is that the Giants are questioning his work ethic these days. I do miss him as a big play guy though.

You can't run the football with 9 men in the box. You learn this in high school. COme on les it's time you wake up. Get into a shot gun set and lets go you can't run the football. Another thing. JC Copeland quit tweeting and play football. That shite don't mean any thing untill you back it up.

So what is the generally accepted view on former player tweets? Take with a grain of salt since they are no longer involved with the day to day operation of the program? Always take them seriously because they were inside the program? Take them seriously if they agree with your point, disregard them if they don't?

rantards will praise them if it's positive, then banish them from LSU forever if they are critical.

lafell, randle...these guys are the ones who have played under miles, know the ins and outs of the huddles, practices, playbooks, etc.

they bash critics for never playing a down of football, yet bash the ones who played directly under miles.

I think he is trying to be nice to the coaches on the offensive side of the ball without being specific as to which coach.I'll be specific and say Stud the Dud should have been let go with Crowton.
