Better hope we spread it out some vs the cocks.. they won't need 9 in the box to stop the run.

He's 100% right and knows more about the situation than anyone else on this board IMO.
The Sunshine Boys don't like anybody (Including X LSU football players that know what they're talking about) that tell it like it is. There need to be more RR's coming out and calling out the head coach when he needs to be called out. Nobody is impervious from criticicm, especially when you're being paid like Miles is.

Once again it's 2012, not 1972. The 72 Wolverine offense needs to be shown the door.

Before today most hands would be going off on Rueben Randle. What happened to y'all. Where is everyone at?

Just wonder how many more games we have to watch and how many more Tigers have to call out this offense and the coaches before it finally sinks in to the few pumpers left here.

I listen to all the local NY Giant press and they all love Randle, think he WILL be good, but all are surprised how someone from such a big program is having difficulties with learning the offense.

Because he played the equivalent of a West Point offense last 3 years. He has never seen xs/os.

This is such a stupid canned response. Only coaches should be able to criticize Miles, right? And only presidents should be able to criticize presidents. ETC.

It's crazy that a receiver thinks we need to throw the ball more.

Hurst was a penciled in starter from the get go and he's the worst player on the line. Quit blaming injuries.

Anything to defend Miles. Injuries don't happen to any other teams, ever.

Hell, Bama lost their best WR in the Champhionship game, and wow they still succeeded passing on LSU's vaunted defense.

Bama loses their big play, big receiver in Julio Jones, and didn't have problems passing the ball last year with a first year starter, but LSU does.

In the end, injuries on a team with as much depth as LSU shouldn't be a reason to have an anemic offense. If Les can't recruit players to fit what he wants to do, he and his staff have to adjust to what they've got.

I dunno, seemed to work pretty well for his current team today. But far be it from anyone to question the dominant 6 point offensive performance put up yesterday.

So why did you post as you aren't a member of the team. Let's just shut down the Rant and to hell with free thought and speech.

Free speech is about being able to speak freely about the government without fear of being imprisoned. It has nothing to do with your thoughts or opinions on LSU's football team, unless someone in the government was telling you to shut up. Then I guess the 1st amendment would come into play. Just saying.....

So you're saying that freedom of speech is only applicable when speaking about government? Thats the dumbest shite I've ever heard.

No. It was written in the constitution so people could speak about the government without fear of retaliation from the federal government. It's what allows us to voice displeasure about the president, vp, congressmen, etc. without worrying about being tossed in prison. I suggest you read the amendment and the history behind the writing of the constitution.

Don't want to hijack the thread, it's just funny to me when people use free speech out of context.

I'm not denying the fact that it was written for that purpose, I was underhandedly stating that probably 95% of the constitution isn't executed the way it was intended at the time of creation.

ETA: Not worried about hijacking the thread, it's 2am on a Monday. No one is gonna read this shite anyway.

meh. WR's have the easiest job on the field and generally are not the most intelligent of the player groups...so it doesn't surprise me that he misdiagnoses the problem.

Maybe he should stop calling out others and work on his own game. Dude's not gonna have a roster spot for long the way he's going.

He lead the team in receptions today.

And he provides some useful insight into how the players feel about the offensive struggles. If players don't trust the coaches that's a problem for the team.

Besides which, by all accounts he is right. The team has the same problems under a new QB that it had for the past four years and running up the middle with 9 in the box is dumb. That's not some insightful diagnosis, it's there for anyone to see.
