I really wish saban had told Alabama to tell them they can’t make it happen. I honesty can’t believe he didn’t. Saban has great respect for all kinds of people and I’m sure the president of the United States. But he values the focus and work ethic of his team above all else. This just adds one layer of difficulty to achieving that goal and I can’t believe he didn’t torpedo the idea immediately or that they would go ahead without asking him.

The Don -POTUS- has, in effect, had his face shown all over TV since the early 80s, yet you hope (and change?) they don't show him on this broadcast, quite possibly the most watched college football game this season...haha. BLESS YOUR WEE LITTLE HEART.

Saban declined a dinner invitation from President Bush when he was at Miami because it interfered with his coaching, on a Sunday night in the off-season no less...I'd guess he doesn't want the distraction.
