I was in a local restaurant last Friday watching the game and a young couple sat down at the table next to me. I soon realized they were Arky fans. As I sat calmly eating my meal the Hogs scored Hogs 27 Tigers 21. They immediately said we got this! I sat calmly enjoying my meal and had no doubt LSU would win. It's "Death Valley", Right! It was about the time Mett got hurt after hitting Landry with the catch of the year. Tigers kick the FG and the game is now Hogs 27 Tigers 24. Then it happened! Katy Perry's "Roar" filled the restaurant and the rest is history. "Roar" should be played at every home game to leave no doubt LSU holds the winning hand!!!

Yea they tried that at the Cincinnati Bengals 1st home game this year and the fans revolted. Needless to say the song was removed for the next game.

There's a version of "Roar" remixed with the four notes of Pregame that they play in the PMAC for basketball and volleyball games. I'm very surprised they never played it in the stadium.

That is about the time TGBFTL said to hell with it and played Neck! TS went ape from end to end. They played it, students be damned, on the last drive and the last defensive stand and all that were still there were arm waving. Thanks TGBFTL!!!

I wouldn't know that answer but by god they played it when the chips were down and the Tigers were clawing their way back. I watched the CBS telecast on my DVR and when they played it the announcers just talked over STTDB so they must have known it was coming. You could still hear it if you knew what it was. The amazing thing is that as much bitching as there is on this board I did not see anyone complaining in TS - all I saw was a bunch of arms waving in unison and people getting loud and off their feet.
