honestly, I am not sure what to tell you about getting to campus, but I have never found uber or taxis to be easy to get at all after football games. if you have a car, I would recommend you just tough out the traffic and drive it to one of the free lots. I am afraid that even if you can get uber after the game, it would cost you an assload to do it.

Assuming LSU beats Ole Miss this week, ESPN Gameday will likely be here for LSU-Bama, so that could be another thing you'd want to add to the list in the morning (it would be set up at Parade Grounds on campus).

Just FYI. Bama game is LSU Salutes. So Gameday would likely be in another location.

Thank you all for the insight. We can't wait to get down there and experience some SEC football and fans. All the responses here solidify our choice to make LSU our first stop on this adventure. Thanks again. Geaux Tigers. We'll be rooting for you.

So glad we are making BR our first trip of this journey

This might be your first mistake. You'll be disappointed at every other stop you make after seeing LSU first...

plan to drive up around 9 or 10am

I know it will be hard to get up early on Saturday after partying all night on Friday, because I've made this same trip many times, but you you might want to leave earlier so you get to campus by 10 AM. Drive will be an hour early in the morning, but by noon it will take you 3 hours to make that same trip.

around 9 or 10am. Drop stuff at that hotel

Not sure if they'll let you check in this early, so check with the hotel ahead of time.

Rule 1: Literally just show up early and stay late.
Rule 2: Stay away from streets named after presidents, states, and Native American tribes
Rule 3: Have an open mind and try any morsel of food that's handed to you.

As far as find a restaurant, if you're just coming in on Saturday then there's no point, walk around, make some friends - eat and drink until your heart is content.

Hotels during football season are usually pretty understanding and will store luggage on gameday.

The biggest and best peice of advice is to wear your Arizona colors. LSU fans will be very cordial if they know you are a visitor not with the enemy. They go out of their way to impress out of towners.

Thanks! The Southern Hospitality has already been shown. We have contacted the hotel and they are trying to get us in early. Worst case, bags stay in the car until we stumble back in... Geaux Tigers. We'll be rooting for you hard tomorrow.

Enjoy! I'm jealous. I haven't been to a game in forever, and you couldn't have picked a better one to go to that's for sure!

There's a small rivalry between the two schools that dates back to the 1970's...

Here's a little history from a ND perspective: Notre Dame

And of course, an LSU perspective:
