Just checked for ticket availability. Surprised to see the upper west deck filling up before the lower east side. Most choosing to sit higher up than in sun.

Those numbers are actual attendance as compared to today's tickets sold. Actual attendance for Auburn was no more than 80,000 and EMU 70,000. The only game we have come close to 100,000 was Bama last year and it didn't get there

Interesting thing I found looking up something else. Check out these attendance figures for 1993.

Capacity was 78,000

Auburn-71,936
Florida-60,060
Ole Piss-61,470
Tulane-58,190
Arky-54,239

Perhaps the good old days are not quite as good as we might think.

I know the answer is that the team was terrible then, but if the fans were so much better, where were they?

Think about it. We are at 102,000 now.

I refer to those as the lean years!

I was there for all of those. You think those numbers look weak, you should have been there for the end of most of those games.

My wife and I still joke/reminisce about those years. After the game we would walk across campus and it was actually eerie how empty it was. We'd get to our vehicle and literally be the only car left in the parking lot, and drive home with probably less traffic on the road then a typical weeknight around LSU now.

Yeah...A lot has changed. Winning changes everything, especially Traffic!

There's a shite load of tickets on stub hub right now too so I expect a ton of no-shows Saturday.

Dude, if you're in a suite, you're not much different than "the people between the 20"s".

Incorrect. I'm tailgating for hours and then head to the suite in time for Pregame and then stay for the whole game. Every game.

I think I'm with the guy on his general point that we are clearly living in the "good old days" of Tiger Football, but he sort of went off the deep end with that turn.
