Yeah i'm getting tired of the board.

I'm jumping in and out hoping that someone has concrete insight from the team or players about how they're handling the adversity. No one has really come forward with any info yet.

I just want to see how they'll respond. I still have some faith in this season if they play better

So who drug you here and forced you to post?

It's bad enough that Miles is playing checkers vs grandmasters, but even when he insists on 2 TE w FB sets, he doesn't have the personnel to run it.

Take a peek at #81 while you're rewatching. And keep in mind all the offers he had.

Shanked punts, KO out of bounds, not enough men on the field, TOs on 2nd and 7 that result in QB and RB running into each other and having to recover a fumble, and a passing game that never throws a route that has a receiver in motion.

I particularly appreciated the sideline route w 10 seconds left in the H that was high risk for a less than 10 yd gain.

It is embarrassing. And when we have to pay a premium to get Jimbo after already having him in position to take over 18 returning starters that have now been wasted, I want F King Alexander and Stanley Jacobs to pay with their jobs.

Who said anything was fine?

I think the talk is do you fire him now, or let them play more than 1 game? You ain't getting a coach worth a shite in week 2.

The kicking game is what I find hilarious. We know for a fact we can kick it deep just as well or better than every team in the country yet we didn't change a fricking thing mantra applied we still try for the corner kick and still get burned for it. Ab so fricking dillusional is this coaching staff.

We actually have a situation where the casual fan now has more football common sense than this brain dead coaching staff.

First third down conversion happened at 0:00 in the third quarter. This is not only an OL issue or a good defense issue. Harris sucks because we made him that way.

The cowboy Offense line would look bad too when they face a defense with 10 in the box

Still in the first quarter and have seen two egregiously overthrown deep balls.

I disagree. Both deep balls should of been caught. The INT and the deep back shoulder throw.

Also, I only count 4 bad Brandon Harris throws. The slant to Dupre should of been caught. It was low and hit him straight in the hands. And the comeback on the second to last 3rd down was high on purpose bc Dupre had the height advantage and the DB was right behind him, that pass also hit Dupre straight in the hands....

The Second series of the game all 3 throws really awful though. (*on 3rd down Pocic and Malone competently whiffed on thier blocks).

The rest of the throws are debatable and most should of been caught.

Saw some plays where the pocket completely collapsed, and Harris side stepped pressure still made a play, & others where Harris had a clean pocket, but dropped too deep and stepped toward the RT, collapsing the pocket himself causing a sack.

There isn't enough consistency, period. Makes you wonder what they have been practicing for 1/2 a year fundamentally.

Harris needs a diaper when he feels any rush cuz it looks like he shits his pants. Stay in the pocket and take a hit if u have to!! Take of running. Why wouldn't he use his damn legs. I wanna see etling and or Scott get a shot. Harris ain't got it. If I'm wrong then he should come back with a vengeance and be lights out sat. I don't see it happening

Yeah, 11 years of recruiting HS QBs, and he hasn't produced a serviceable one yet. It's mathematically impossible to only mis-identify that many, so lack of developing them is also a given.

Jimbo did more for that kid last night in one game than Miles has done in any LSU QB's career. I could go on and on, piling on w anti-Miles stuff, but at this point, what can we do to limit the damage to the program?

Firing Miles is a given, and he can thank his political friends for the crash and burn, when he could have left w some self respect and dignity. But the same media that championed his cause will skin him alive now.

Harris was not that bad.

quote:

are you really not seeing why the Wisconsin qb was successful?

He was 19 for 31 (61 percent - slightly better than Harris' 57)
The O line was horrendous.
The Dline was not very good.
The tackling was not crisp at all. And there were lots of missed tackles.
The cornerbacks played pretty well. Jackson, and White especially. Toliver was pretty good. He got run over on one tackle which takes away a little.
Jefferson was out of position or late a lot.
Adams was pretty good. He had a whiffed tackle on an open blitz. He should have had the interception.
I don't know how our offense looked good the drive before the pick 6, and then the subsequent 2 play "drive", but the rest of the time we couldn't get more than 3 yards a run or a sporadic completion.

The ONLY positive I got from that game was that we didn't commit nearly as many stupid penalties as last years first couple of games.

Harris made two really bad throws, his first and his last, in the middle it's just a bunch of ignorant routes/plays being called, when we finally made it simple we scored calling simple throws to Dural for him to make a play

They either are terrible at knowing what traits a qb needs to have or they are terrible at developing qbs either way it's bad and it's been bad for too damn long. Look at J Hurts man the guy was throwing bombs all over the damn field I'm just sick of this shite. Harris I know is busting his tail off bc I can see his physical stature has changed since here but his decision making hasn't one bit. That's either from bad coaching or not enough. Either way is not looking good for Miles.
