I just returned from Starkville ,and I cannot say that I was excited with the win. We started out looking like a dominant team, but after that it wasn't very esciting. I did see the hold by Diarse but I need someone to explain the penalty on Clapp. Dupre also made the catch that the officials took from us. It is obvious that the staff either doesn't believe in Harris, or they are trying to protect until e garners more experience. Let's see if the cliché about improvement from game one to game two holds true. Good but troubling win.

Officials didnt help our cause at all. Felt like we were definitely playing Miss St and the officials. Miles could give Harris some love and let him throw a bit more so teams dont load the box on us and sell out the run though.

Clapp made a unnecessary block behind Harris on a scramble. I am sure you are as frustrated as most of are over the play calling?

So I want to know what made Clapp's good block illegal.

I just think momentum swung in there favor, mostly due to penalties and tough breaks.

As the momentum shifted, the stadium got louder, and it was just hard for Les to put faith in Harris this early in the season.

Dural's touchdown doesn't get called back, and it's a different game.

I thought everyone looked good. We will win a lot of games and we already got to see that this team has a horseshoe up their a****, so it could be a fun ride.

Regarding Clapp - Harris was forced out the pocket on 3rd and long and as he cut the corner, Clapp came and chop blocked MSU d-lineman below the knees. Redshirt fresh mistake but clearly a penalty.

Great win, opening on the road at hostile environment with Harris's 2nd career start. Will only get better from here, let's get past Auburn and watch this team take flight!

What I saw was LSU going conservative on its play-calling, a la last five years. That threw the 1st qtr momentum directly into Dak Prescott/MSU's lap. By the 4th qtr they had the driver's seat, and would likely have won on the fg, apart from their one delay of game 5 yd penalty.

Because it's very dangerous. Did you see it. I was afraid for the defender.
