he will get a shot. maybe he wins the back up role if he does well in his times on the field. its not like the other backup is a known commodity.

With Brady facing an early suspension, my money is on Flynn being on the roster game one. Jimmy Garapolo (sp?) is going to start, but Flynn is there in case the wheels fall off or he gets injured. The Hood knows worst case scenario with Flynn is going .500 if he has to start multiple games.

Garrappollo. The guy they just used a second round pick on last year and are VERY high on.
Matt knows what this is. He'll be the backup for however long the suspension is and then take his check and go home. They aren't cutting a 2nd year QB that they like for Flynn and they don't like to keep 3 QBs. They want a veteran presence in Garrappollos ear while Brady is gone
