I been wearing the same shirt every game day since the beggining of season.... Its purple.

I dont really care if you don't want to wear gold. But if you are saying the reason you are not wearing it is because you HONESTLY BELIEVE that the purple or white shirt you have been wearing to every game is the reason the Tigers are winning; you seriously need to get your head checked. I bet you still believe in Santa and the Easter bunny too right?

Count me in that 20,000. It's gonna be hottern heck and I'm wearing white. Haven't worn gold to a football game since UTe in 2005.

You know? WGAF! If a bunch of non-conformists wear green and a bunch wear gold and then another bunch wear purple, then you got Mardis Gras and everyone who is bothered 'cause "it ain't all gold" can just let the experience be an issue for them or they can relax and enjoy the 'effing game.
Personally, how can anyone argue against showing up to support the team and watch the game, sipping on Bloody Mary's and snacking on some tasty treats before the game and then having a good time at the game. What I or someone else wears to the damn game won't matter one damn bit and anyone who let's some purple wearing Tigers fans ruin their day is just too self absorbed with fitting in with the masses.
Now... if LSU wants to give out gold tees to everyone as they enter the stadium, then by all means... wear the shirt. But if someone wants to come in sporting a red polo, IDGAF.
