Kraigthorpe will definitely have a major impact on the offense. His approach to our offense will be very aggressive. I feel like we'll have a different look from last year.

Krags will have a big impact on JJ's QB play as well. I really expect the "light" to come on for our senior QB.

I hate to be the negative one, but i'm not sure there is a 'light' at all. But I really hope to God i'm wrong.

Recap of JJ's ESPN.com Q&A

Dear God he doesn't interview well. It just doesn't flow smoothly.

At least he doesn't drink PurpleDrank.

I can't believe you guys are ripping him. He gave solid answers and stayed very diplomatic erring on the side of caution. I think he did just fine.

Agreed. If he does as well at QB this year, the team will do just fine.

Agreed - That is a fair assessment of the losses.

LSU's troubles were not *only* Gary C.
LSU's troubles were not *only* JJ.

However, to be fair -- how about including a fair assessment of the wins?

How many Wins did we have BECAUSE of the defense?
How many Wins did we have Despite poor QB play?

It's easy to make a point if you only choose to discuss the obvious pieces that support your view. In my estimation -- the DEFENSE/ST allowed us to win 4 extra games, despite very poor QB play. And, I'm not hating on the guy -- I'm just hoping he matures a bit and conducts himself more as a leader and less as a victim. This interview has me thinking that he's maturing quite a bit in the off-season.

It's all about perspective. Here's to hoping that LSU Fans' perspectives of JJ at the end of the season are that he has drastically improved and is considered the most improved player between his Jr and Sr seasons to have ever to play for the Tigers.

no i was just getting tired of the "LSU would have been in the BCS with better QB play" crap. Better QB play would have made the wins look better indeed but it couldn't help the losses.

Better QB play would not have made Knile Davis run for less than 154 yards on us nor would it have made Hatcher take a better angle and not run into his own teammate.

Better QB play would not have let Auburn run up and down on us nor would it have caused the LSU rb committee to gain only 41 yards.

Our pass game was complete and utter shite last year but the LOSSES, the actual LOSSES, came because we could not stop the run nor stop two HUGE TD throws. Defense and S/T has to show up for every game same as the QB and the times they didn't we actually lost. Hell against Ole Miss we had to have a shootout to win.

I said all that to say, as long as this stupid ideology is allowed to flourish and somehow become rant fact, then it should be stated that it is a fact that QB was NOT the reason we didn't go undefeated.

I am not a JJ supporter, but you guys criticizing him may have never been interviewed in your life. He is what, 22 years old? Cut him some slack - okay. I hope he plays as well as interviews, good but not great. A good JJ is WAAAAY better than what we have had last season.

Jordan, Does it affect you and your team mates when people question Coach Miles's decisions?

Jordan Jefferson (1:18 PM)
It definitely effects and somewhat hurts when other people ask outside questions, because we understand his thought process and may be the only ones to understand. We have faith in our coach and we trust and respect his decisions.

love that

1 (Rickey) is a rising HS jr. and has an LSU offer to play WR.
