Everything florida got was from us giving it to them. They scored 14 points on turnovers, and we were flagged for some really stupid penalties. Every drive they had was extended by a stupid or phantom penalty.

We dominated florida. I can't imagine demps being that much of a difference maker if we didn't make that many mistakes.

No I am going to digest this win for a while. A win in the swamp and you still complain?

Really, Florida players knew? If that is so, we had a bad pitch that hit the ground and we still made the first by two yards. The call was a good one. If the pitch was executed the way it should be, Jasper would have gained way more yardage. FACT!

We beat florida with our best CB banged up and our starting DE out for the year, and our best passing QB playing half a game.

I'd say, in reality, LSU is a good team that has a legit shot at winning the SEC.

I still don't see lee as a full time qb. He hasn't proven he can start from scratch and win. He does best running the two minute drill and in pressure situations.

Jj scored two rush tds. You can't deny his ability ad a runner.

We would have won by more if our best player didn't muff a punt. Or if our kick coverage didn't take a play off.

I want to see lee start and play the whole mcneese game before I name him the starter against auburn. A team we should run the ball against.

you do realize the game would have been a blown out if florida didn't capitalize on turnovers... on OUR side of the field.

we outgained them in yardage.. and our D held them in check.
check the stats and replay bruh.

It was a great win and an great team effort. Injuries are always part of the game, that game shouldn't have been close, and wouldn't have been without our mistakes. I do take your point about some of the substitution patterns, why put Murphy into the game at that point ? It's Ridley time down there.

You should look at the stats bro.

On drives that JJ started, they resulted in 2 feild goals, 3 punts, and an int.

On drives that Lee started, they resulted in 4 TD, a punt, and a fumble.

And, with Lee starting he gained 270 yards and JJ 125.

You tell ne who did better. JJ had his place on a short yardage run inside the 20. Other than that, Lee is the man to lead this team.

The people who will bash you in this thread are just casual football fans that don't know very much about sports in general. They are happy with wins, as am I, but they have no desire to get any better until we lose a game first, where as you and I would like to see them make adjustments before it costs us a victory.

Now I can see their point about why would you even make a thread about this the day after a huge victory, as it would be nice if everyone would take a day or two to celebrate.

But I agree with what you say.... We were lucky to win when we didn't have to be. We are really good at physically dominating teams and not allowing that to reflect on the score board. Silly mistakes and the continued waste of drives with Jefferson at the helm hold us back so much. This game would have been a blow out if our head coach wasn't so stubborn

I think you just proved the OP's point for him. Why? Oh Why? would your best QB only play half a game. Takes a real brainiac to figure that one out

And we should give up dealing with people who won't be happy with ANYTHING. This is the SEC; games get close but we won. WE WON!! Stop being such a prick.

I said this at the beginning of the season and I stand by it: Miles isn't going anywhere for a good, long time. And I think Crowton did one hell of a job last night.

i will say this, when florida scored with 2 minutes left to go up by three i was so mad that we tried to protect a 5 point lead, yes penalties and turnovers kept florida in it, but so did coaching later in the game.

typical miles, but i will take a lucky and 6-0 over unlucky and 4-2 any damn day.

i hear what jwill37 is saying, and he has legitimate points. at some point we are going to have to beat good teams and not count on trick plays and luck to get it done, or it will catch up at some point.

dont be naive, it was a high quality win but can you can honestly say you werent ready to explode on our coaches when florida went up by 3?

The officiating was god awful. I think the coaching staff for the the most part had a very solid game plan for last night.

I'm not holding off on any celebration though. Well, I kinda am, but that's because I'm hurting from celebrating last night.
