Look at JJ's stats and tell me how he didn't play great! The game was close because of a muffed punt, kick return of td and a facemask on what should have been a safety by Nevis. Not qb play.
Amen... This is the only reason it was close!

start lee at qb and bench jefferson permanently please. jj's a baby, his team doesn't trust him, he's stupid, and he sucks.

You should look at the stats bro. On drives that JJ started, they resulted in 2 feild goals, 3 punts, and an int.
On drives that Lee started, they resulted in 4 TD, a punt, and a fumble.
And, with Lee starting he gained 270 yards and JJ 125.
You tell ne who did better. JJ had his place on a short yardage run inside the 20. Other than that, Lee is the man to lead this team.---whiteside
I'm so glad there is at least one other person who saw this. I'm hoping the coaches can see this.
I do agree with several points in this thread, though. LSU won in the swamp!! We are 6-0 (4-0)!! I will be celebrating this for a while (until we are 14-0!! haha). But, injuries, interceptions, fumbles, and personnel are part of the game. It adds drama (that's why we watch the game!!). Who wants to talk about a boring game??
Just me here, I love the last minute drama, the bounce pass laterals, fake field goals, the come-from-behind victories, and the fact I have to worry about my heart trying to force it's way out of my ribs on every play...
Dispite flaws, 'what if..?' statements, and doubts about the future, it was an incredible game. That above all else is a fact.
GEAUX TIGERS!!!

The people who will bash you in this thread are just casual football fans that don't know very much about sports in general. They are happy with wins, as am I, but they have no desire to get any better until we lose a game first, where as you and I would like to see them make adjustments before it costs us a victory.
It really scares me how few people agree with this sentiment. Ignorance is bliss I guess.

Way to try to make every excuse for Florida and taking as much as you can from LSU. Good job.
A textbook example of a negatiger.

Dude, really? I am in no way a fan of Miles. I think he is an idiot. But we just beat Florida in the swamp. What more do you want

do you realize we're a muffed punt (by our best player) away from possibly leading 27-7 at half time. we handled florida very well.

I was in the Swamp last night, screaming my head off, ecstatic for our Tigers. It was an awesome win that I think they deserved.
However, my thoughts on Miles haven't changed. He makes bonehead decisions and relies too much on luck to cover up for his shite decisions. That said, I hope Les Miles turns out to be the best coach in the country...I just don't think that's going to happen.
But we can celebrate for now. PLEASE prepare for McNeese, Tigers! I don't want to see Miles frick this up by overlooking the next game.
