4 turnovers in the red zone including 2 fumbles and 2 ints would affect this ranking. It's OK after 2 games in the season.

That will change when Deangelo gets back.

We have not been stopped. We have stopped ourselves with turnovers...

I'm sure it has already been said, but you are a fricking moron. Every rushing touchdown of less than 21 yds is a sign of a poor qb?

It's two games idiots. The stats are almost meaningless right now.

ESPN research’s guys came up with this stat, and it’s a stunner. Guess which quarterback finished second in the nation last season in red zone passing efficiency.

your reading comprehension sucks. the statement clearly says, "finished second in the nation". two games does not a season make. the only reality here is that you are a dumbass and just another negative pos. have a nice day.

This statistic is skewed. Missippi State is tied for #1 and they have only been in the red zone 4 times?

I am not saying that this is not an issue for LSU, but the statistic does not have any real value.

Doesn't make much sense. Efficiency has little do to with the number of times you get to the RZ. You are either efficient when you get to the RZ or you are not.

Should have said it differently. What I should have said is tht we scored before getting to the red zone more times than I thought we would, but I also believe it is too early to make earth shaking statements about our offense. Usually, two games is not a trend, at least to me any way.

Fail. Circumstantial at best. Require conclusion that play calling was predicated exclusively on QB performance.

I can explain this stat - it was the quality of our opponents.

Nah. The board is slow right now so it will be on the 1st page until the traffic starts picking up. When the traffic starts picking up this thread will be a pretty good one cause we were 100% effecient (i think). Or was the Blue fumble in the red zone? But then again, that isn't JJ's fault at all.

ok yeah looks like the line of scrimmage was the 30 and it popped out around the 28, rolled and was recovered ~25.
Painfully close, but not quite. I hope he doesn't end up in the basement all year over that. Young kid trying to make a play with the limited time he is allowed.

+1
I don't see the reason in wasting a redshirt on a guy and then benching him cause of one or two fumbles. A couple more and he might be digging himself a grave.

Yeah it has to be used as a teaching tool, but damn don't burn a year then let him rot on the bench. I know when Lacey fumbled the Bama fans were convinced Saban would think twice before putting him in again. I seem to remember that from Saban. I understand protecting the team, but these kids need experience. Bottom line.
