Folks like Mandel, GG, Football Scoop, Finebaum etc are all saying LSU are doing Les wrong. But it's THEM who is driving the conversation, they are the ones pulsing their 'sources' for any scoop so THEY can be the first to report it. And when THEY are not the ones with the scoop they are complaining about how LSU is doing Les.

Let's not forget they are also the main ones complaining how LSU are underachievers because of coaching but when LSU starts to try to get ahead of that to rectify that issue, all of a sudden they (LSU Admin) should be "shameful" (Stu Mandel) on how they are treating them?

Media ppl are so full of themselves....

All of those (with the exception of maybe Scoop), basically call him an underachieving dolt. Now they shed tears for him having to answer for his performances the last few years. What a bunch of hacks.

They wept when Willingham was fired. When Weiss was fired. When Chizik was fired. When Coker was fired. Yet, criticized them all.

I'd bet that if you went back and look at the history of what most of them said or wrote about Les over the years...it would be less than flattering.

There are 15 million reasons why people should not feel bad for Les. Guy will be able to coast into retirement and never have to work again. Maybe the best thing that ever happened to him.

They don't care about that. Hell, Finbaum makes a living doing it and stirring pot.

It's not the media's fault. There doing there job and sharing info given to them by LSU insiders. Admin spreads rumors of firing Les and then throw him in front of a presser. Classy

same people who also raked miles over the coals for oversigning and the chris garrett fiasco.

Well when the "source" is joe alleva, I think they have a pretty good point.

They are doing the same thing that is happening on this board. They are all playing both sides of the story to the fullest as they are hired to do. And they are getting all of their ammunition straight from LSU supporters. Finebaum and his merry band of misfits will have a field day trashing the LSU name for more than just play on the field. The best way to contain that is for LSU to step up and assign a media person to address what we now know is an obvious story and concern and have all info disseminated from one source as office. Or, Alleva or an LSU official needs to step up and take charge and address this one way or the other. Right now, its all irresponsible and damaging to the brand.

It's hilarious. It's like they forget that they previously shitted all over Miles for years.

Mandel was the main one with the pitch forks during the Jeremy Hill thing.

Remember "Team Vote"?

Mandel has always had an agenda, he works for Fox Sports, it's his job to draw hits to his website and his media conglomerate.
Finebaum is no different, if it makes the entire LSU market tune in to his show, he's doing his job for ESPN. That's what ESPN hired him for.

LSU created the news. They could have stopped it last week. They didn't.

The fans are the ones that drive the hysteria. The need to know everything before it happens in real time.
