In Baton Rouge, Miles has never been a good fit. He replaced an iconic figure in Saban and it took a national championship in his third year to get people off his back.
If Saban had stayed in Miami, Miles would still be having some problems after the last two years in which he has gone 8-5 and 9-4. However, while he has been slopping around, Saban has gone 26-2 and won a national title during the same stretch.
Miles is 8-8 in regular season SEC play since winning the national title. During the same period, Saban is 16-0. Any questions?
Now, everyone in Baton Rouge with a working brain has come to the same conclusion: Miles' first three years were due in large part to what Saban built and left behind. With Saban recruits, Miles went 34-6 with three straight top-5 final appearances in the polls.

As did LSU fans who all of a sudden want to start crying about it.
I wasn't one of them, but what the HELL does that have to do with questioning these media guys' motives right now?
