D- play calling not improving is the biggest concern, we know what he is working with but needs to adjust. No clue on how to get our play makers the ball. Creativity on play calling is non existent. I don’t understand after five games why we are not throwing one read options that include very shorts throws: 2-5 yards stuff: hooks, slants, bubble screens, etc. I am not saying that will solve all but it would give Daniels some confidence and give our receivers a chance to make something happen.

I think the way the offense sticks with the run game and builds on it in the 2nd half is admirable and is what you have to do win on the road. With that said, the OP isnt wrong about the passing game needing a tweek or two. It takes too long for daniels to see the field. Gotta make it easier for him

I agree that Daniels has trouble know where to go with a pass, however, it’s beginning to look to me like we have just as large of problem with our receivers. Too many drops and not NEAR enough separation. DB’s seam to know our route trees. We need to mix that up…start breaking some off shorter and others…deep post, middle of the field. QB needs a vertical target.

I honestly wouldn’t know any better if you said Les and Cam Cameron were calling plays.

But when you win I can’t complain

C- I just went back and watched Daniels at ASU videos . He is doing the same thing at LSU that he did at ASU look at first Receiver if not open tuck and run. He had a different OC there but is doing the same thing. Does it matter if you call a Pass play when your Qb is to scared to throw the ball. Its hard to rate an OC when your QB is going to do what he has been doing since elementary school.

F should have never been hired. His scheme has been total dog shite vs teams with a pulse. 600 yards vs southern and New Mexico level is not a factor.

He was a outdated terrible hire for no reason.

D-

The only points he gets are for the play at least getting in on time, even if it is a dog shite play

I for in progress.

I think it's too soon to give a complete rating. I see lots of WRs open all day and JD is struggling to recognize and put the ball in the numbers. There are only so many tools in the tool belt, and we need to remember where this team was just 9 months ago.

Everyone needs to get better - Denbrock, QBs, and WRs/Backs need velcro in their gloves. We cannot afford to have a single dropped ball when JD makes a good throw.

Lsu looked like they were back in the les miles/jordan jefferson/Jarrett Lee Era last night...denbrock and Polian are the only coaches who have disappointed so far imo

We were lucky to win last night. O scheme was TERRIBLE. We should’ve run away with that game. Period. But the play calling held us back.

D- he starts too late, his plays are long developing. We will be buried under a mountain of points against Tennessee. I personally see little difference in cam Cameron and Denbrock.
