None of you have answered my question yet. Typical yall call names and dodge the points.

AGAIN; would we have won 2009 title without J Mitch. And no we aren't mythical time travelers but in your honest opinion.

But you said the players won it. Did they not get recruited here? So the coaching won it now? Are you confused?

Wait, but you said Mainieri won games solely because of the talent he brought in. Now you say recruiting doesn't matter.

Which is it?

Yes, Jared Mitchell was like our fifth best hitter and Chad Jones barely pitched.

Yes I certainly think it's possible.

Wrong. He was in top 5 of every category and top two or three in over half the stats.

Yes we would have won with out J Mitch. That team was loaded with talent.

You can't sit here and say we wouldn't have won without out him. When did you become a fricking mind reader?

I'd venture to say Micah was up there too.

Let's not forget Nola coming in as a freshman at SS and grabbing everything that came at him. He was automatic at SS.

Meh, he was a freshman and batted .316 to Mitchell's .327.

I looked at the stats and was actually surprised to see that Gibbs only hit .294 that season, so I edited my list.

Regardless, DJ, Dean, Ochinko and Schimpf all had better averages than Mitchell with Ochinko, Dean and Schimpf having more RBIs as well.

Mitchell was drafted because of potential not because he was the best player on LSU's team that year.

Wrong again I'd give you top two maybe top three how you compare the stats. Anyways my point is any team can lose a top 3 guy in their line up plus he's speed in outfield and still win championship. Negative
