I love Reuban Randle like nobody's business, but how the frick could he drop that? He makes that and and we run them out of their own fricking stadium. The drop and the subsequent missed chip shot FG(bad snap,I think by the way) and they got new life. Just terrible by a guy who we think has AA talent.

That said, watching the replay, I really like our offense. And we're doing it without 1) a healthy OL, including our LT being out most of the game 2) RS not being there most of the year, and 3) Deangelo Peterson being MIA last 2 games. And he may be our best offensive weapon. As good as our defense is, I think our offense if really good and only getting better.

He knows it. He won't drop another one like that.

I'm glad it ended well & did not cost us a game.
I agree he will watch them in now.

It was really, really bad. I'll certainly give him a pass though. But it could have turned out a lot worse than it did.

that's really the only thing that makes sense. The touchdown he did catch was much, much tougher. And this is not me ragging on RR as much as legit confusion.

Yeah it was bad, but he is still our best receiver. You have got to love the fact that Lee made it a point to go over and slap him on the helmet and tell him its ok.

That was the best part.

The Brandon lafell drop is the worst from an LSU WR.

It's funny that I know exactly which drop you are talking about.

it's okay Mo is about to run it back. But yeah it made me sick watching us dominate that opening drive. In reality, our offense was pretty sick most of the night

After I posted that I was remembering how bad he had the drops. Most lsu fans would know what I mean but for those who dont it was the one where he calmly tossed the football to the D-back.

It was horrible, but to put a positive spin on things that drop turned the game around and forced our players to prove that can stem an opponents momentum and answer back.

I worry if we would've won 52-7 or something we might get a bit of a big head. LSU hasn't gotten this much positive attention since 1959

Thank God.

And Mo had played a shite game up until that point. This is really when I realized we have a pretty special team this year. These guys are real good.

I guess this is the rant.

Don't worry, he's still the best receiver on the team and I have no doubts that he will bounce back from that one mishap.

Dropping it is one thing, but the most disappointing thing about it was that his technique was terrible.

Beckham shows him how to catch a ball, everytime it's thrown his way.

Inside shoulder hand should always be on top. RR tried to basket it against his forearms and chest. It would be like a third baseman not turning over his glove for a hard grounder down the line.

Randle will be a huge part of this offense all year, but I'm guessing his draft status couldn't be hurt by working on his technique.
