Quit Bashing The Fans

Yall act like our fanbase is the absolute worst in the country....its not! You need to read on some of the other forums for other teams...same schit as here and, in some cases, much worse!
Last time I looked, no one is picketing in front of the football offices, players aren't being attacked outside their dorm rooms, the stadium is not on fire, and no one has kidnapped Les's kids.
The only place for fans to vent is on this site. I dont, for one minute think any rational 3/4/5 star recruit is gonna seriously reconsider commmiting here b/c of some stupid BS he heard about on a fan website. If I was a recruit, I wouldnt give two hoots in hell about what a bunch of goofy fans think. Players come here for the prestige, the chance to win it all, and for the exposure..and they will continue to come.
Some of you self-righteous MF's need to quit telling others what they should/should not think or feel!

It's almost universal that people who take the time to post online about anything tend to be over-passionate and a poor representation of the general public.
Whether that's about a LSU Fan board, or a negative review on Amazon.com, most happy people who have a lot of other better things to do and have less negativity stay away from the internet in general

Find another team with as much success on the field with as much negativity in the fanbase and you'll win the argument.
Hint: Don't waste your time. There is no more negative chicken little whining fanbase than LSU. Catastrophe syndrome.

Although they see it different, the ridicule players and coaches took after the game DID have an effect, and you're a moron if you didn't notice it. Russell Shepard had a tweet about people talking shite about him that was basically along the line of "Are you kidding? This is just more reason to leave!" A kid who has been all LSU and did nothing wrong, hell didn't have a chance to, and people dove on him for not immediately saying he'd stay. Get over yourself. It does have an effect, and the majority of our fanbase, stupid half educated rednecks, is making us look stupid.

I agree.....I dont consider myself a negative person and am generally happy....i come on this site some but not a whole lot....and if i want to piss and moan a little...who's it really hurting??? Absolutely no one would be the correct answer. Not everyone has to love everything about Tiger football all the time!

And it's pathetic. If the Rant was all this site had to offer, I'd never be here. Thank god the Clucks noticed that if he relegated people to here, he'd be out of a site. I've never seen a collection of more stupid, irrational people on Earth. It has only become worse since the season started going well. This is not the passion we were known for. Supporting a losing team who still had the best fans in the 90s is what I grew up with, and sometimes, I wish we'd go back there for a bit to clear the bullshite.
Also, why do we keep bringing up the NC game as the reason this is all happening? Do you guys realize that every year someone loses? There have been several embarrassing losses to good teams including Ohio State twice. They got over it.

What has happened to this recruiting class has nothing to do with the fans. Players speaking their minds after the season has nothing to do with fans. The recent problems fall squarely on les mile's head. Anyone blaming the fan base is just an idiot.
