That’s still in test stages. I think you have to be a certain age to be “tested”

My son's doc offered to do a peanut challenge with him. It would allow us to see what he can handle since IgE blood tests aren't always very accurate.
I'll say this, I've found that I'm more current on medical literature than one of my son's doctors. Whenever I ask him about certain tests and such he'll quote something that was a much older line of thinking. While I don't try and argue it, it has led me to take my son to see other doctors who actually stay on top of stuff.

I have an 9yr old son. We have been to many games without incidence. He is highly allergic to peanuts/tree nuts.
Peanuts at the concession are bagged, so less chance of cross contamination to other food items.
If our seat neighbors are eating peanuts, I just move him to the other side, or between me and my wife. As always, we bring an Epipen and benedryl.
Good luck!

He must have had lower levels each time he went. One of my twins went down. One up. Not to the level to do that test yet tho.
This dr we go to is up to date on the new test. He says within 5 to 10 years the allergy will be curable.

Don't go if there is any significamt wind in the forecast. My wife is allergic as well. We went to a game one time with about a 20-30 mph wind, and the paper-like portion of shells were flying everywhere. We had to leave in the 1st quarter or risk a trip to the ER.
I was royally POed. I was a smoker back then and couldn't go enjoy a cig in a smokers section because a whiff of smoke is so utterly offensive to certain people, yet only harmful in theory after decades of second hand exposure. Yet those same people's peanuts were posing an immediate life risk to my wife, but that was perfectly fine.

Food's probably cross-contaminated to hell. I wouldn't let her eat anything. Not worth the risk.

What Happens With a Tree Nut or Peanut Allergy? When someone has a nut allergy, the body's immune system, which normally fights infections, overreacts to proteins in the nut. If the person eats something that contains the nut, the body thinks these proteins are harmful invaders and responds by working very hard to fight off the invader. This causes an allergic reaction. Even a small amount of peanut or tree nut protein can set off a reaction. But allergic reactions from breathing in small particles of nuts or peanuts are rare. That's because the food usually needs to be eaten to cause a reaction. Most foods with peanuts in them don't allow enough of the protein to escape into the air to cause a reaction. And just the smell of foods containing peanuts won't cause one because the scent doesn't contain the protein.

Didn’t realize Woodward was a peanut vendor as a kid.. Thanks for sharing?
I’ve eaten Almonds all my life, even daily at one point. A can a week.
I decided one time to buy some in a bigger package straight from the growers.
I noticed after a few almonds my throat itching and my tongue swelling.
Now if I eat even a sliver off a cake my tongue swells and my throat itches.
I take Benadryl and it clears up quickly. How I got an allergy to a food I’ve eaten all my life at age 47 is beyond me. It’s only almonds. I can eat peanuts.

Yep. Same thing happened with my mom when she was in college with shell fish. Ate them all her life and one night they were boiling crabs and she had to be rushed to the hospital. She had literally ate some the day before, also. Crazy how it works...

I know of a local child or two who have had amazing results with addressing the peanut allergy -- there is a cutting edge program based in Dallas that they go to. It is pretty involved and they have to go up there every other weekend for a period of time, or something to that effect. I can get more details if you like.
