So I heard the game is still -7 bama and that 70% of the money has been on LSU... Is this bad?

Has nothing to do with the results.

It's generally a good rule to fade the public.

You heard wrong, 53% of the money has gone towards Alabama. That is why the line hasn't moved that much. Opened at 6.5 now at 7 at most books

70% of the people on ESPN might have voted for Alabama to win or something.

According to this site, 67% of the money has gone on LSU. Despite this, the books have not adjusted the line downward. Generally speaking, that does not bode well. It suggests that they are content to have more money come in on LSU.

Vegas odds site

Of course, sometimes Vegas is wrong, but it's cause for concern.

If they don't move the line don't they just adjust the juice? Like you can take LSU +7 but you have to pay 130 to win 100.

The line is now Alabama -8. This is crazy to me.

70% is on LSU for the moneyline. The public is on LSU for this one and the sharps are betting it back up by taking Bama.

I thought for sure it'd get bet down to 5' or 6.

Agreed.

No book is gonna let 70% of money go anywhere, either way.

Taking LSU +7 is the play here, but I wouldn't bet this game.

Bama -8 I would take lsu, otherwise bama is the play taking the fan emotion out of it I think they win by 7.

Games usual close, saban owns miles in the 4th quarter every year.

That tells me people are still on Bama, for obvious reasons.

Tempting, but would avoid. Maybe throw a hundo down, but I wouldn't drop a dime or anything serious.
