I give Saban credit for Buster Davis, Dwayne Bowe and Russell. So all you pro Miles Sheep please explain this to me
I'm sure Saban would gleefully take credit for Russell
And is Davis even in the NFL anymore? Jesus, at least get some decent references.

Well first of all, you are leaving out the fact that we have a very, very large number of players in the NFL compared to other teams out there and apparently you only view success as first round picks. I guess you would argue Hofsta's coach flopped by having Colston since he wasn't quite a first round pick. It is possible that high draft picks flop and that the NFL overlooks others (JaMarcus Russell)
Second, you are completely depriving Les Miles of credit for his drafted defensive players. Yes, Les was an O line coach but it is clearly the focal point of his strategy to have a defense first focus. He has succeeded in developing players on defense and special teams that excel in the League.
Third, I take issue with the fact that you judge the success of a coach by how many players he has had come out as first round picks, rather than by wins/losses. By this measurement, you would rather be where Miami is at rather than where LSU is at. Fail.

Unless your counting Addi, or Russell the Miles regime hasn't produced a single offensive 1st rounder, I give Saban credit for Buster Davis, Dwayne Bowe and Russell.
anybody else flash back to the "RIck James bitch" Chappelle episode here.
I didn't put my feet on his couch... yeah I remember putting my feet on his couch

Isn't it funny?
Ridley is probably more productive than all those guys listed. But he wasn't a first round pick so that doesn't count

Chavis, try again.
Our D is obviously championship caliber. Doesn't matter when our offense scores 0 points.

So he's happy that we are keeping the winningest coach in our history and that means he's gay for him? Good one

Not a first rounder, but isn't Steven Ridley a starter for New England (one of the best teams in the NFL)? Reuben Randle has been a solid contributor. Morris Claiborne, Patrick Peterson......all guys on the rise in the NFL.

So wait, if our offense sucks, it is Les' fault but if our defense is awesome, Les gets no credit?

You do know Chavis has only been here for half of Miles's tenure. We actually played football and won championships before him.

If Miles is such an amazing developer of talent, how many offensive 1st rounders has he produced? Under Brick Haley and Chief how many?
So do you want offense or defense, cuz Chief is defense.
Either way, some of you people just aren't happy at all unless Saban is on the sidelines. His d*** is in Tuscaloosa, go suck on it over there. Am I 100% please with everything Miles does, hardly! 1/9 is still a nightmare, but its folks like you w/ the broom up your arse thinking that there is a better option out there, the man wins, thats all there is to it.
