Question about Student Tickets

So a buddy bought a set of tickets to the Arky game off of Stub Hub and I just found out that these tickets are in 230, which is student section. So I have two questions:
1. I assume these tickets are no good for us because you probably have to show a student ID to get in, correct?
2. Anybody interested in 4 tickets in 230?

You may be able to get the student tickets upgraded at the athletic office for 40 bucks a piece. Otherwise, you'll have to show an ID. If you're young enough and know LSU undergrads, you may be able to borrow an ID. They don't really check.

You can go to the ticket office and "exchange" it for a guest ticket. You will still be in that section but you won't need an ID to get in.

umm unless the listing stated it was for student tickets I would just contact stubhub and demand a refund

That's why I had it in quotes. They call it exchanging but you have to pay the difference.

No u are fine. LSU sold thru sec 228-236 to public.

Limitation on # of student upgrades, i believe there are none left for this game.

Thanks all. I'll have him call the ticket office and confirm that this section was sold to the public. If not, he can inquire about upgrades. Appreciate the help.
