A freaking 6th grader could complete 60% of the passes JJ throws.

After the Georgia game, there were virtually no posts calling for the replacement of Jefferson.

not true

and many people wanted to see lee get in, in the 2nd half against UGA to see if we could do something. JJ was horrible until the very end of that 2nd half

JJ's ypa hasn't been the best

9.0
4.8
6.6
8.3
5.6

he also takes a bunch of sacks

most rational people don't want to see JJ benched. they do want to see lee in for a few series to see what we have. if lee sucks, then JJ just gets even more solid as the starting QB

You made my point even more obvious. We played the easiest part of our schedule and we are ranked as one of the worst offenses in the nation. Do you expect that to improve as we play better competition???

Couldn't have said it better myself.

You're taking a chance to see if this lights a fire under the offense's arse. If it doesn't work out, so what? You have Jefferson there with the experience to do what is needed. Maybe not at an great rate, but you're not throwing a QB that doesn't know what's going on out there.

All it will prove is LSU has serious issues at QB that only age/experience progression will improve.

I was just trying to get a point across that JJ passes are very easy throws that should be completed more than not. He has made a couple of good throws to BL on some post patterns but other than that nothing much. His statistics prove my point.

Now is it the coaching or him? Does it matter?

I really don't think it does, because IMO, that's what you're going to get out of a Soph. QB.

Everyone brings up these Soph. QB's that are successful beyond their years, but they are more the exception, not the rule.

Anyone else find it interesting that just me posted JJs passing stats and L S UseTheForce thought he was insulting JJ? As if JJs stats are so bad that your first reaction is negative?

We don't have a huge problem with the UF D causing JJ's stats to drop. That is something that is to be expected when facing a great D.

What we didn't like was how poorly he played regardless of the D. Things like not stepping into the pocket, having no clock to get rid of the ball, running the option terribly.

It seemed like regardless of the D, JJ regressed.

Again I wasn't mad because of his stats........I was mad because of what he posted yesterday and then what I thought I was reading today.......until I read the whole post........you are trying to put a square peg in a round hole with that statement.......but go on assuming you knew what I was mad about.

What are JJ's stats in the second half? The last three games have been awful.

I wouldn't mind seeing these for his entire career I know he was terrible vs ark and gt in the second half.
