His qbr last night wan a 5.4! It was an 18 against Southern. I see the potential in the arm talent and I thought he was going to come in and produce some nice pass plays, but he did nothing.

He had more yards passing in the half than Daniels. And receivers legit dropped 2 of his passes, not the stretched out finger tips touching the ball drops you credit Daniels with.

Someone who actually throws to the receivers! He had a few drops last night. I wouldn’t put any stock in what his QBR was last night.

He should have been brought in in the first half and given a chance, at least one prime time series. I’m seeing that he wasn’t given a chance, and it seems that BK may be afraid of hurting a fragile ego.

No one is saying Nuss is going to be amazing simply that Daniels hasn't done enough for Nuss to be shut out from meaningful playing time. Daniels is even regressing and the schedule is getting tougher.

Nuss brings an ability that Daniels doesn't have.

Brian Kelly’s history rivals spurrier as far ask jerking in and out starting QBs.

Maybe needs some reps with 1s and game experience.

This QB situation is such a sad but all too familiar movie at LSU football.

Ww all know, the back up QB is always better unless of course you have a senior Joe Burrow.

What game has Nuss played that gives you that idea?

I only remember the Boutte drop, but there may have been a 2nd with Nuss. He was literally just throwing quick outs.

I agree that he had some on target throws, but he didn’t even try to push it down the field.

Daniels had drops from Taylor from the onset. Nabers tries to catch with his body all the time. Thomas drops surprised me. I think 7 or 8 drops with Daniels. Taylor 2, Nabers 3, Emery 1, Thomas 2? Or maybe Thomas’ 2nd was with Nuss.

Definitely not his 8/20 for 80 yards performance, or ZERO 2nd half completions. It's totally because of his race.

I love how you conveniently left out his play last week.

9/10, 135 yards, 1 TD, 0 INTS

As another poster stated, he had two horrible drops by Boutte and Thomas, and a 3rd that was on the money but was well defended by Auburn.

He should have been at least 4/6 and possibly 5/6 last night with better receiver play.

And Daniels brings an ability that nuss doesn’t have.

Or rather two.

Running and lack of turnovers.

Last night was clearly his worst game at LSU. Prior to that he had been unspectacular but solid.

Which qb would you rather. Jayden Daniels vs auburn or nuss vs southern

Has he been given starting duties and reps and then started? How many games has Nuss started?

Daniels has started 30+ games and he was 8/20 for 80 yards last night.

They tryna make something out of Nuss that he's not im almost like f it start him a game so they can see all of the turnovers. They act like the coaches are blind and can't see what he does in practice. We have a staff that has identified every position and has made adjustments hints the offensive line, linebackers, and switching Ward and Brooks. Nuss just isn't good right now and isn't ready just accept it people. If he was he'll be your starter.

Make sure to include rushing because like it or not it helps us win.
