Backup QB Stidham is transferring amid the chaos at Baylor. Any body hearing anything? Do we consider going after him? Should I move along and keep dreaming?
2015
10 G/ 1265 yards/ 68.8 %/ 12 TD/ 2 INT

I doubt there would be any interest in his part. Texas Tech and Baylor are not similar offenses to LSU.

I would advise him against coming to play QB for Les Miles.

I am sure they run more receiver sets, however, people really don't realize Baylor was very much a balanced offense in terms of rushing and passing..
Again, not saying it translates.. I just like pointing out the fact that Baylor's offense finished 2nd in the entire NCAA in Rushing Yards per game (326)
For reference we finished 7th at 257
I would love to see us have offensive success like they have with both the run and pass.. but please spare me the difference in competition stuff. It's still impressive they are efficient both ways. Even when they got down to their backup qb they kept rolling.. It wasn't until their like 3rd or 4th string until they started to struggle.

Pretty sure he was interested in high school

He originally committed to Texas Tech if not mistaken.

If he would consider LSU you do everything in your power to get him. Kid is a stud.

I assume he'd have to sit out a year and be eligible in 2017, if he transfers to another FBS school. That would be Harris's senior year.
Hell, I think you have to at least make a play for him.

Aren't you the guy that called out on Twitter by a recruit ?

Move along. Keep dreaming. We have Etling behind Harris and two solid freshman QBs for next year. QB depth is important but we are ok for right now. If they get him than great but I give it about a 5% chance

I don't recall any interest on his part and I don't even see an LSU offer in any of his profiles.
And the post about Baylor's offense, yes they definitely are more balanced than most spread attacks, but it's still a spread offense.
I doubt he goes back to his original Texas Tech commitment, as it was a pretty ugly breakup.

He should go to Texas Tech and play for a team that gets beat by Les Miles?

Les has had 3 qbs start in the NFL.

I'd be surprised if he wanted to come here

Best case scenario, Harris continues to progress. Plays well to very well for two years and hands the job off to either Brennan or Narcisse after winning a ship. However, that's nowhere near a definite and after many years of sub-par QB play, I wouldn't mind more talent at the position.
Do I believe Les would go for it? Hell no.
