Yes, you're right, it's Lindsey Scott.
I saw video of him the other day. I was shocked. I wouldn't mind seeing him at all. Does Canada have the gonads to flip the script?

I'm going to get attacked, but it can't be Etling if we want a shot at an SEC title.

I totally agree. Etling was a big improve from #6, but in terms of championship play (SEC or NC), he just doesn't have it. I don't think a thousand Matt Canadas can fix that.

First off what does an Auburn Guy Know what LSU OC Canada is going to do? I think it will be hard to pass on Etling as our QB for next year. He played very well his last 2 games. What the guys who was bring the game said that OC Canada wants a QB who doesn't turn the ball over. Etling will be a Sr. next year. Don't be surprise if Etling win's the QB position next year.

See this is the problem with plenty in our fanbase. Etling lit up a truly awful TAMU team, then his WRs made acrobat catches all day on short or overthrown passes. That was just Louisville. Do you think he can beat Bama or Auburn defenses with that kind of play?

Aranda is an incredible, incredible, incredible D coordinator, but every good one gets lit up once or twice during the season. With a team that doesn't have arse for defense and a good offense, do you think Etling can become a playmaker instead of just being average?
What happens if we lose Guice at any point next year, or he gets shut down? Do you think Etling could become the offense to get us through the game/games?

I'm not saying Etling is bad. With a year improved in a better system, he might balance the offense more. The problem is that he's a game manager at best. I know people will get mad at me, but in 2017 he will be the 5th (out of 6), most talented QB on the roster.

Right now I'm more optimistic about one of the 3 freshmen in 2017 starting than Etling, Harris, or McMillan. I really like Scott's skillset the best, and he's also the most likely guy to unseat Etling if you listen to what people have been saying about him this year. I was hooked ever since I saw his tape from the high school all star game he was in.

Wouldn't mind at all seeing Lindsey Scott as our QB.

Need to point out that the whole offensive system is changing. So being on campus for a year doesn't really help.
