Inside scoop guys. Just met an Auburn "sportscaster" down in NOLA for the Sugar Bowl and he mentioned that a certain QB from this year, that redshirted, is going to take over the job for next year.
Anybody know who that is? Yes, you're right, it's Lindsey Scott.

This makes no sense. Why would he know that? If anyone in the program believed Scott was already the best option he would be playing right now/would have played this year rather than RS.

Johnny "Football" Manziel was red-shirted as a true freshman then started the next two seasons.
