Put a fake tiger in a cage and pull it around the stadium.

Seriously, you can barely see the animal anyway. They could put a life-size tiger doll in that cage, pull it around the stadium blasting roaring sounds out of the speaker system and most of the drunken rubes clamoring for this would never know the difference.

Tell PETA to STTDB and let's geaux! It was amazing to see the look of the opposing teams players as they entered Tiger Stadium with a live tiger sitting right there. Not to mention it electrified the crowd.

I keep seeing people saying PETA is the reason we stopped. The real reason is because they would like to continue getting tigers in the future and sanctuaries (not PETA) are not going to donate more tigers in the future if we continue this practice.
Would you rather parade our current Mike around until he dies and then never have a Mike again or would you rather LSU maintain their sanctuary status and always be able to have a Mike in his habitat after they pass away?
Again, PETA isn't the ones donating tigers to LSU. If the only thing the administration had to worry about is mean PETA tweets then it wouldn't be an issue.

The uneducated who continuously start threads whining about this issue will not give up and move on. No Mike is going to be paraded in the stadium again. They need to get therapy if they can't deal with it.
