It is not too late to salvage the season. We can still win the SEC. We can still get to the CFP playoff. Let's not wait to lose another game.

I was very impressed with what Ed did at USC as interim coach. I think he'd do fine in a similar role here for the rest of the season.

It's one thing to rant for the dismissal of CLM. I agree with that. But it is a totally different matter to bring up such ideas as promoting any current staff member at this point in the season. The LSU admin will hold off as long as practical in having to pay CLM his buyout money. Rant away but do be practical.

What is Miles's buyout now? It seems to reason LSU would save money by terminating Miles sooner because it wouldn't be paying his salary. I would think his buyout is the same today as it will be Dec 01, 2016, no?

It's like some idiots ONLY remember him at Ole Miss. He was interim HC at SC and was like 6-1. He's also been quoted as saying he LEARNED that you cannot coach a whole team like the DL, a lesson he learned the hard way in Oxford.

The guy was excellent at USC. Yea, he was passed over by a high profile coach...I bet USC would be dying to have him at the helm right now...52-6?
He was bad at Ole Miss and awesome at USC. It doesn't have to be a permanent thing, but it would be a great coaching upgrade.
And to the poster who said the DL didn't look good...you're an idiot. The defense was dying because our depth is hurting on the DL right now, and they ran 73 fricken plays. That's so damn much
