Or literally half the games. And yes, most the time it is because Ben is in foul trouble, but when you sit out 8 minutes in a half, that's still a rest.

I'm nearly positive there are still tickets available.

I would prefer not to wait until the 7 minute mark when he picks up his 2nd foul.

Of course at that time he realizes he hasn't rested Hornsby so he gives him a 90 second breather at the same time which sent the team for a bit of a loop.

If we are up by 10 or we looknto be in control I wouldn't mind Ben sitting alittle bit extra. I think epps is a decent backup, he is definitely an effecient offensive player. Also I know we don't like elbeet but I'd rather see him over Darcy. Elberto still has upside imo, Darcy is ehh

Most of these kids can play all day, I'm not too concerned about them playing 36 minutes instead of 32. I really don't think that matters with a time out every four minutes, a 20-minute half and all the timeouts allocated to the teams.

And I definitely don't think it matters cumulatively, playing two games a week? That's cake.

That's not what I'm worried about, especially with ben. But those could be learning minutes for epps who will be needed next year. But I'm probably over exaggerating the use of 4 extra game minutes.

You can't afford to do so against at team like Ark. They can score quickly and in bunches.

I like this matchup for LSU. LSU wants to get out and run as much as possible, and Ark. is happy to let them do it. This is one of those games where I think Josh Gray could thrive. Go back to last year, he was at his best against Ark. UMass and WVU. All those teams played fast.

This might also be a good matchup for Blakeney. If I'm LSU though, I'm trying to find a way to get Kingsly matched up on Simmons. He's an eraser inside, but those guys also have a tendency to be too aggressive when you pull them away from the basket. Start early! Get him away from the bucket and let Simmons attack with hopes of getting Kingsly out of the game with early foul trouble

Good point, and I think lsu will try to get kingsly matched up on Simmons using screens. Also I think if we can break there press we need to attack him, try to get him out the game. The did a good job with the UK guys and the big guy from wake hopefully they continue that tomorrow.

Agreed. If Ben wants to play in the NBA next year, I'm gonna assume whatever terrible team drafts him, he will play 3 games or so a week and he will play at least 30 minutes a game.

Great Write up. I expect lsu to win this game.

I think you guys will be surprised about hannahs and kingsley.

Hannahs is shooting 48.3% behind the arc 42/87 and has been in a slump lately at the ft 12/16 in the past 2 games.

If you guys really want to win, I can start the game thread jokingly of course. I am 3-12 when starting gamethreads for arkansas.

I'd like to see Epps get more minutes as well. IMHO they are concerned about defensive matchups with Epps as he seems overmatched inside on D against the better teams and maybe has trouble guarding 3s in space if he's used as a 3.

Would love to see it. With the tempo and what one would think would be the increased number of possessions for both teams, it definitely increases the chances.
