We have a good shot if UF and UGA both drop another game.

I'd like to share your optimism, but I am reality based and mostly don't see your scenario having even the chance of that proverbial snowball in hell. But thanks for trying to see it on the sunny side. Sometimes being delusional and living in denial is a good way to cope with an ugly reality that isn't going to improve.

Here it is.... This HAS to happen to have a chance...
Bama wins out and blows Georgia's doors off
Oregon loses at Oregon st
K state loses to anyone
ND gets blown out by USC
Florida loses to Florida St..

I'd say its roughly a 5% chance.... But hey... There is a slight chance... Much better shot at the Sugar against ND

Then there'd be the fact that Oregon, K-State, and Notre Dame would all still have one less loss than us.

We'd probably be higher in the BCS than a 1-loss Notre Dame, but not the other two.

You do surely realize that this is going to have to fall into the category of "wait until next year" to even hope to have any credence?

LSU is not going to be a factor in this year's run at the NC from last night forward. No one we play from here on out is a factor in that process, either. The dream is over; we need to hope for a decent bowl trip now.

If Oregon finishes with one loss, they're going to be ranked ahead of us.

Where is this coming from all of a sudden? We have NO chance of a NC. 07 was completely different, everyone had at least one lose most had 2.

All of those teams were pretty equal. Its common knowledge that LSU is light years better than KState, Notre Dame and is better than Oregon. 1 loss from KState and Notre Dame screws them, Oregon will be = to LSU with 2 losses with 1 loss.

I wouldn't object the chance to decimate ND in a bowl game.

That's what will have to happen. Espn will have to start pumping the fact that LSU's 2 losses are equal to one loss.

Their loss is either coming in the Pac12 Championship Game or against OSU which keeps them out of the game.

Basically, they are in the same situation with our "quality of losses" looking much better.

Keep drinking the KoolAid.
The UF loss screwed us. Now if they lose, it weakens our computer ranking. They win and they take our place. We are in a really tough spot for a BCS game.

I just can't see the voters letting a 2 loss team playing for the BCS championship again.

Good news... We dont have to win the SEC West or the SEC to prove we are worthy of the BCS game... Right?
