If USC is the 8 seed my guess is:
Baylor and Arizona
UCLA and Rice
Oregon and Purdue
LSU and Miami
FSU and aTm
Florida and NCST
UNC and Stanford
USC and UVA
National seed is the one on the left.
And before you say something about UNC and Stanford, I can't see any way around someone making a RIDUCULOUS road trip unless teams from the same conference are paired up with each other. I'm telling you it's impossible.

Don't know if 1 seeds from the same conf can be paired with each other. Probably apples and oranges, but I think softball would have had three of them this year if LSU wouldn't have won the regional.

1 seeds from the same conference cannot "meet" until Omaha. This is what the selection board typically tries to do although with upsets and such you will see super-regionals with say 2 SEC teams.

Don't want Georgia Tech. They're on fire right now. Sure we can and will beat them, but I'd rather not sweat during this regional.
