BYU= win (Talent takes over in the 3rd quarter as LSU rolls)

Chattanooga= win (LSU wins big. Unlike similar games in the past LSU uses this game to tune up their passing attack. Etling throws for 350 yards)

Mississippi State= win (Guice rushes for 200+ yards and enters the Heisman talk)

Syracuse= win (LSU uses a balanced attack on offense and the defense plays lights out. LSU wins big)

Troy= win (Williams and Edwards-Helaire both rush for 100+ yards)

Florida= loss (LSU has too many turnovers and misses 2 field goals as LSU loses by three)

Auburn= win (Auburn runs into a mad LSU teams. LSU wins by 13)

Ole Miss= win (Ole Miss has given up on the season and are blown out)

Alabama= loss (LSU is leading late in the fourth by 2 but Bama scores the go ahead touchdown with 1 minute remaining)

Arkansas= win (Guice rushes for 190 yards in an easy win)

Tennessee= win (Etling passes for 330 yards in the 17 point win)

Texas A&M= win (LSU wins in a very sleepy game by 16 points. LSU's offense has 400 total yards.

10-2

7-5..8-4 if we get lucky one game. O-line depth will kill us and we lost a lot of vets on offense and defense

BYU= Win (will be an ugly game but we win 24-17)

Chattanooga= Win (no explanation necessary)

Mississippi State= Win (The first game where we really flex our muscles)

Syracuse= Win (We're way too talented for them and should be a blowout)

Troy= Win (No explanation necessary)

Florida= Win (Florida is looking like they'll have trouble on offense and with Canada's different scheme LSU should win 24-10)

Auburn= Win (this is really a tossup because I have no idea how good their qb will be and they have a solid defense)

Ole Miss= Win (LSU will run all over them and their team will have given up after losing a couple games already)

Bama= Loss (Etling needs to play out of his shoes and LSU D needs to hold Bama to 14 points or less if LSU wants a shot. The O line troubles will really show and the final score will be 28-10 Bama)

Arkansas= Win (Their run d is to weak to contain LSU)

Tenn= Loss (A trap game where it'll be cold weather where LSU will play very sloppy)

A&M= Win (The team will have given up knowing Sumlin is gone and LSU will run all over them)

10-2 with an appearance in the Fiesta Bowl against Washington which LSU will win

Either 10-2 Losses to Florida and Tennessee
Or 9-3 losses to above 2 and Bama

We are close in all the games. On 10-2 scenario we beat Bama because we now have an offensive mind who will be creative to pull out some eye catching plays that Bama does not see coming. Defense keeps us in all games.

If we beat Bama or not, we have a lot of bangs and bruises to recover from and play just average to beat Arkansas the following week, then have to go to Knoxville still banged up from the Bama and Arky game. We lose a close one to Tennessee. Hope and if I am wrong here we can be 10-2 or at best 11-1

BYU - (not pretty) but a Win

Chattanooga - win

MSU - win

Syracuse - win (though relatively high scoring)

Troy - win (though too close for comfort much of the game)

Florida - win (I haven't been sold on McElwain. He's sloped his way through a really weak SEC East over the last few years)

Auburn - win (a shoot out with both teams putting up 30+)

Ole Miss - win

Bama - loss (close)

Ark. - win

Tenn. - loss (By this point the grind of the season catches up with LSU and they drop a tough one AT UT. )

A&M - Win (LSU puts the final nail in the Sumlin coffin)

10-2

We aren't losing to Florida. Did you people not watch last year? With a competent OC we win by 21. We now have a great OC

I agree with all most everything... except for the Florida loss. LSU gets some much needed revenge on those frickers this year, especially after all the shite talking they have done. I do think we finish 10-2 this year, but with losses to the GUMPS and another loss @ Tenn.

For O's first full season at head coach, I'll take a 10-2 (respectable) season!

CAN'T. FUGGIN. WAIT!!!!

You have to ask yourself deep down if this university can afford to lose to Alabama again. On paper LSU will be an underdog, but losing to them this year would be 6 straight regular season losses, 7 if you include 1/9/12.

LSU 2017 football team will go 8-4 in another rebuilding year because the school waited too long to fire Les Miles.

10-2 would be great. I'm thinking more like 9-3 with losses to Fla, Bama, and Tenn.

The matchup just looks terrible for LSU right now and the game is at Bama. Bama will have one of their strongest offenses in recent memory. I don't think Bama's defense will be as dominant as it has been in recent memory, but LSU will somehow have to score with a weak o line and mediocre qb. It'll be hard for guice to get going at all.
