i can't imagine going through something like that. prayers to the scona's and lil scona.

I second this, when you have to uproot your family it isn't cheap and I'm sure a lot of the expenses won't be covered by insurance. When going something this traumatic, the last thing a person should worry about is money.
The power of TD is immense and I'm sure someone here could get this started and it would become a tremendous success.

Prayer is very, very powerful. I'm definitely praying for him and his family. I cannot imagine having to go through something like this.
Also, I am all in for donating to a fund for them.

Just wanted to bump this for anyone interested. Ryan Theriot mentioned a few things were in the works to help Matt and his family out. Been listening to Matt since the Condon days. I'll try to keep this thread posted if I hear anything.

Although I don't always agree with Matt but I do enjoy his commentary style and the fact that he often was able to offer unique perspective. Regardless, being a parent is the hardest job in the world, and I wish everything goes well with her wife and the pregnancy. Prayer sent.

From Boston Children's Hospital:

A CDH (Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia) is a hole in the diaphragm (the muscle under the lungs that is responsible for breathing) that allows organs from the abdomen to move into the chest
CDHs affect about 1 in every 2,500 babies
A CDH can often be diagnosed during a routine ultrasound. If it’s not diagnosed during pregnancy, it is usually diagnosed shortly after birth when a baby is having trouble breathing.
The outlook for babies born with CDH is increasingly positive with new surgical techniques and ways to support babies as they heal. However, it’s possible that your baby can have long-term problems and need regular follow-up care after going home from the hospital.

Seriously, how is this not stickied? The guy gives all his time and effort to LSU, and is widely known by fans throughout this board.
